Dallas, Texas - Ryan & Company, the nation's leading provider of state and local tax consulting services, has chosen to support the homeless in Dallas as part of its community outreach for 2005 by co-sponsoring the inaugural Legends of Service award luncheon, with proceeds going to benefit the Dallas Life Foundation.

The Dallas Life Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable organization whose mission is to break the cycle of homelessness by providing food, shelter, clothing, physical, and spiritual rehabilitation to those in need regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sex, or age. Since it's opening in 1954, the Foundation has become the largest shelter in North Texas.
The award luncheon will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at the Westin Galleria Hotel in Dallas with featured speaker LTG John Van Alstyne, USA Ret., the 38th Commandant of Cadets & Head of the School of Military Sciences at Texas A&M University.
