Dallas, Texas – Ryan, a leading global tax services firm with the largest indirect tax practice in North America, today announced that Bradley O’Donnell has joined the management team as Principal. He will provide additional leadership and support in the Firm’s Communications Transaction Tax practice, which currently provides tax advisory services to more than 90% of the communications market. Mr. O’Donnell will also be opening a new Ryan office location in Morristown, New Jersey.
Prior to joining Ryan, Mr. O’Donnell was the Director of Transaction Tax for a global Fortune 100 broadband and telecommunications company, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the transaction tax audit department. He has also worked in the tax departments of other major telecommunications corporations and provided tax advisory services to Fortune 500 clients for a national accounting firm. Mr. O’Donnell has more than 18 years of experience managing hundreds of state and local audits nationwide, as well as refund claims, tax research, loss contingencies in accordance with FAS 5, tax compliance, tax systems, and adherence to strict Sarbanes-Oxley processes and procedures. Mr. O’Donnell has achieved industry recognition as a strategic thought leader in communications transaction tax and is a frequent speaker and instructor at various tax seminars throughout the country. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mineral Economics from The Pennsylvania State University.
