This marks the seventh consecutive year Ryan has been selected to this exclusive list of companies with employee-centric work environments benefiting the state’s economy and workforce.
This highly selective list, created in 2000, is one of the first statewide rankings in the country designed to honor, identify, and recognize the very best places of employment on a statewide level. The awards program is a public/private partnership between Team Pennsylvania Foundation, Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, Pennsylvania State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, and Central Penn Business Journal.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania. The first part of this process was evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation.
The second part of this determination consisted of an employee survey to measure their personal experience at work. This part of the process was worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies included in the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process.
