Dallas, Texas -- Ryan & Company announced today that it completed its much anticipated acquisition of John L. Ferrell Company of El Paso, Texas ("JLFCO").

Mr. John R. Ferrell becomes a Principal in Ryan & Company and National Director of Property Tax Services. Mr. Ferrell has over 25 years experience in the property tax consulting industry and has been directly involved in many Texas legislative efforts including the establishment of the Texas Freeport Exemption. He also served on the first State of Texas Property Tax Consultant Advisory Council and co-authored the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct currently used to regulate property tax consultants in the state of Texas. Mr. Ferrell will serve as Managing Principal of Ryan & Company’s El Paso office and, like all of the owners of Ryan & Company, will maintain a significant and ongoing responsibility for client services.
