Former Texas Enterprise Zone Program Manager Joins Ryan & Company

Dallas, Texas -- Ryan & Company announced today that Pam Salinas, former Texas Enterprise Zone Program Manager, has joined the Firm as a Senior Consultant in the Firm's Tax Incentive Practice. Ms. Salinas will be based in Ryan & Company's Austin, Texas office.

The Tax Incentive Practice, which was recently expanded with the acquisition of Austin, Texas-based Tax Incentive Strategies, specializes in the negotiation and application of state and local tax incentives including tax abatements, credits, and refunds of all types for businesses that are expanding or relocating. The Tax Incentive Practice's clients include many well-known Fortune 500 companies, including Owens Corning, CITGO Refining & Chemicals, and Texaco.

For four years, Ms. Salinas headed one of Texas' most active business incentive programs. At the Texas Department of Economic Development, the leading economic development state agency for Texas, she became a well-respected authority on exemptions, credits, refunds, and tax abatements of all types. Since that time, she also developed long-term relationships with local leaders and economic developers who depended on her expertise for assisting businesses seeking tax relief in business expansions and relocations.
