Dallas, Texas -- Ryan & Company today announced the completion of its acquisition of Tax Incentive Strategies. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, Tax Incentive Strategies has worked with Fortune 500 companies located throughout Texas and the Southwest in the negotiation and application of all types of tax incentives, credits and abatements.
Tax Incentive Strategies is headed by Karin Richmond, an 18-year veteran of tax incentive work at the local, state and federal levels. In 1983, she was asked by then Governor White to Chair the Texas Enterprise Zone Board and as such governed the program for five years. Since that time, she has become an authority on tax abatements, credits, and refunds of all types, particularly in complex large business expansions or relocations. Tax Incentive Strategies' clients include many well-known Fortune 500 companies, including Owens Corning, Citgo Refining, Fed Ex, Texaco, and Borden.
