Dallas, Texas -- Ryan & Company today announced that it has donated $50,000 to Jack Sutton Ministries, Inc. of Shreveport, Louisiana, a private, non-profit organization that offers assistance to homeless and imprisoned adults in Louisiana. Jack Sutton Ministries, through its' "Jacob's Well" outreach ministry provides food, clothing, and spiritual help to those in need. Through its prison ministry, Jack Sutton Ministries provides spiritual help to prison inmates at various facilities operated by the Louisiana State Department of Corrections.
The proceeds will help support Jack Sutton Ministries' efforts to reach hundreds of homeless and disadvantaged individuals annually through its ministries, which include programs for inner-city children; a coffeehouse ministry; a discipleship program for substance abuse recovery; and an adult literacy program.
Ryan & Company selected Jack Sutton Ministries, Inc. for this donation, in part, based on Jack Sutton's twenty-five plus years of service to prison inmates of Louisiana, having served on the Governor's Forgotten Men's Committee. He has been diligent in seeking employment and housing for released inmates, assisting them with their re-entry into society.
The check presentation was made today at Ryan & Company's Dallas offices by G. Brint Ryan, the Firm's Managing Principal and Amanda S. Ryan, the Firm's Director of Finance. Jack Sutton Ministries' principals Jack and Barbara Sutton accepted the check.
