Dallas, Texas -- Ryan & Company today announced that Dr. Roger Pfaffenberger has joined Ryan & Company as a Senior Manager and Practice Leader of the Firm's Audit Sampling Practice. The Sampling Practice will complement the efforts of the Firm's tax professionals in statistical and non-statistical sampling in the transaction tax area. Dr. Pfaffenberger will be responsible for the design and evaluation of audit sampling methodologies, and will operate out of Ryan & Company's Dallas office.
Dr. Pfaffenberger holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Texas A & M University and has been a faculty member at Texas Christian University for the past 24 years. He recently served as Director of the TCU Center for Teaching Excellence, a professor in Decision Sciences, and Chair of the TCU Faculty Senate.
