Dallas, Texas -- Ryan & Company, a national provider of state & local tax consulting services, today announced the launch of its national fuel and excise tax consulting practice. This initiative will add professionals in Ryan & Company's existing Houston, Texas, and Atlanta, Georgia offices and will provide the anchor group for a new office in Kansas City, Kansas.
Ryan & Company named Mr. Robert D. "Bob" Jones, Senior Manager, to lead the practice. In his new position, Mr. Jones will focus on business development, service delivery, and recruiting efforts, building on Ryan & Company's existing presence and service delivery nationally. Ms. Zoë Nungester, Manager, joined the practice in Houston, Texas and will support Ryan & Company's national fuel and excise tax consulting initiative.

Mr. Jones has specialized in providing multi-state and federal fuel and excise tax recovery and audit consulting for a variety of industries and has over 23 years experience in various industry and public accounting positions. He was a Director in a major national accounting firm and the National Practice Leader for fuel and excise tax recoveries for the United States and Canada. Prior to that he was the Operating Tax Manager for the largest "less-than-truckload" trucking company in the United States.
Ms. Nungester spent 5 years working in public accounting specializing in implementing state and federal motor fuels and excise tax savings solutions to Fortune 500 companies and has 20 years of experience in the state and federal motor fuels and excise tax area.
