Chicago, Illinois -- Ryan & Company, the leading independent national provider of state and local tax services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. James Kranjc to the Advisory Group of the Illinois Director of Revenue, Brian A. Hamer. Mr. Kranjc is Senior Manager in Charge of the Chicago, Illinois office of Ryan & Company and also serves as the Chair of the Chicagoland Chamber Taxation Committee.
Director Hamer formed the Advisory Group as a means to provide direct advice and feedback from tax practitioners experienced in sales and use tax, income tax, and other areas of taxation within Illinois. The Group will address several issues including legislative affairs, sales/use and income tax draft regulations, current litigation matters, and audit concerns.
