Dallas, Texas - Ryan & Company, America's largest independent state and local tax consulting firm, is pleased to announce it has opened its newest office location in San Francisco. The firm has leased space on the 21st floor of 345 California Center located at 345 California Street in downtown San Francisco's financial district.
Greg Weston, Manager in Charge, was selected to lead the office. Weston has 10 years of consulting experience including serving as a manager for one of the major national accounting firms. He has provided state and local tax consulting services for clients in a variety of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, winemaking, graphic arts, advertising, and oil and gas. He has also served as an auditor for the California State Board of Equalization.
"Greg brings tremendous experience in obtaining multistate sales and use tax refunds, specializing in conducting 'reverse audits' for national clients," says G. Brint Ryan, Managing Principal. In leading the San Francisco regional office, Weston will be responsible for developing and servicing clients in all areas of state and local tax services, including sales and use tax, income/franchise tax, fuels tax, property tax, business incentives, and unclaimed property. He will also coordinate recruiting of new professionals for the San Francisco location.
