Dallas, Texas -- Ryan & Company, America's largest independent state and local tax consulting firm, announced it has opened an office in St. Louis, Missouri, expanding its national tax practice to 14 locations. The firm's St. Louis office opened today in the Clayton business district. Tax veteran Randy Hilger, a former Missouri State Tax Deputy Director, will head the new office.

Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, the firm is establishing the St. Louis office to better serve the many national accounts operating in the region, including Southern Union Gas, and Kroger Co. The office will build on the firm's existing presence by focusing on strategic business development, quality service delivery and recruiting efforts in the St. Louis area. "I am excited to be a part of Ryan & Company, and I hope to build on the firm's strong reputation in the marketplace," said Hilger. "I look forward to the opportunities to present and demonstrate our approach to client service in this market."
Prior to joining Ryan & Company, Hilger served as vice president of state and local tax services for a regional consulting firm. Hilger has 20 years of experience in the state and local tax area, and previously served as Deputy Director of the Missouri Department of Revenue's Division of Taxation.
