Dallas, Texas - Ryan & Company, America’s largest independent state & local tax consulting firm, announced today that Chuck Martin of Alpharetta, Georgia and Member of the Georgia House of Representatives has joined the Firm as a Director in its Atlanta, Georgia office.
Born and raised in Alpharetta, Georgia, Martin attended the University of Georgia, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Science. He is serving his second term of office in the Georgia House of Representatives.
Martin is currently the Manager of Net Solutions, LLC, an information technology and telecommunications consulting company. He is also the Manager of Rock Mill Partners, LLC, a real estate consulting and sales organization.

Martin represents House District 47, which covers Alpharetta, Roswell, and Greater North Fulton County. He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Science and Technology Committee, and the Secretary of the Higher Education Subcommittee of Appropriations. In addition to those committees, he is also a member of the Natural Resources and Environment, and Public Utilities and Telecommunications Committees.
Prior to his legislative service, Representative Martin served his constituents in other public offices. From 1993 to 1995, he served on the Alpharetta City Council. The next year, he was elected as the city’s Mayor, an office which he held until 2002 when he qualified to run for state office. Martin was elected in November 2002 beginning his service in the Georgia General Assembly.
