Over the past eight years, Mr. Allen has built and managed one of the leading property tax appeal practices in the Metro Washington, D.C. area, representing more than six billion dollars in assets. He has personally handled and successfully prosecuted property tax assessment appeals in every major jurisdiction in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, saving clients millions of dollars in taxes. With more than 20 years experience in the valuation of all types of commercial real estate throughout the United States, Mr. Allen has been both a real estate bank appraiser and a licensed independent fee appraiser, providing a solid valuation basis to handle all kinds of major commercial properties. He is a recognized national expert in the valuation of large hospitality, office, retail, industrial, and multifamily properties, as well as possessory interests and assessment appeals.
