Dallas, Texas - Ryan & Company, the leading tax services firm in North America, with the largest transaction tax practice in the United States and Canada, is proud to announce that Senior Manager Greg Odell has been named to the Predetermined Equipment List (PEL) Advisory Group of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
Texas House Bill 3732, 80th Legislature, requires the TCEQ to adopt a non-exclusive list of pollution control property, which outlines 17 specific items that must be on the list and an 18th item that covers a broad range of pollution control property, and review the adopted list at least once every three years.
The PEL Advisory Group assists TCEQ staff in reviewing the existing predetermined equipment list, which is part of the Tax Relief for Pollution Control Property Program.
