Hall, Jr. has been hired as a Principal to lead the Firm’s national Unclaimed Property practice. Mr. Hall is a recognized industry expert and past president of the Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization. He has represented a stellar list of Fortune 500 companies before various jurisdictions, specializing in all aspects of abandoned and unclaimed property consulting, audit defense, and compliance. He will be based in the Firm’s Los Angeles, California office.
With more than 27 years of diverse private and public industry experience in state and local taxes, financial audit, financial reporting, and budgeting, Mr. Hall has devoted countless hours educating corporations throughout the country and speaking before numerous industry and tax groups on the subject of unclaimed property. Prior to joining Ryan, he was a National Practice Leader for two Big 4 accounting firms, a Managing Director for a national tax consulting firm, and the Founder and Managing Principal of a specialized unclaimed property consulting firm. Mr. Hall has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from St. John’s University and is a licensed CPA.
