Ryan Receives PCI Certification for Protection of Client Payment Card Information

This certification recognizes and attests that Ryan maintains a secure technology service solution that protects payment card information in its possession. Ryan is one of only a few tax consulting firms who have met the Data Security Standard (DSS) set forth by the PCI, providing an important security validation for clients hiring a tax consultant to review millions of credit card transactions.

Developed by the PCI Security Standards Council to encourage worldwide data protection, the DSS is a comprehensive array of specialized requirements for security management policies and procedures, covering such areas as network architecture, software design, and other critical protective measures. The DSS is fully supported by the inaugural members of the PCI, including American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa Inc. International.
