Excluding the individual tax preparation firms, Ryan is the 7th largest corporate tax services provider and the largest firm generating 100% of its revenues from tax. Comparatively, the major accounting firms listed generate only 25 to 30% of total revenues from tax services.
Accounting Today has been conducting this exhaustive project for the past 23 years, and for the first time ever, the Top 100 Tax and Accounting Firms showed a decline in aggregate revenues, averaging -2.85%. In contrast, Ryan revenues grew nearly 10% over 2009 and showed the highest year-over-year growth rate of any corporate tax services firm listed.
