Thomas J. Stringer Joins Ryan as Principal to Support Growth of Credits and Incentives Practice

Dallas, Texas – Ryan, the leading tax services firm in North America, with the largest transaction tax practice in the United States and Canada, today announced that Thomas J. Stringer has joined the management team as Principal to support the continued growth of the Firm’s Credits and Incentives practice. Mr. Stringer will be based in the New York City office.

Prior to joining Ryan, Mr. Stringer held a number of senior-level executive positions with several major accounting and business consulting firms, as well as a national accounting firm. He has more than ten years of experience securing federal, state, and local incentives worth more than $1.5 billion for middle market and Fortune 1000 companies, representing clients in some of the largest transactions on the East Coast. He has in-depth expertise in all areas of site selection and business incentives, and is often engaged by regional, state, and foreign economic development agencies to advise on all phases of strategic business development and foreign direct investment initiatives.

Mr. Stringer has achieved industry recognition as a strategic thought leader and is a frequent speaker on a variety of real estate, business incentive, and site selection topics, and serves as a resource in these fields for various business media, including The Financial Times, National Public Radio, Area Development magazine, Long Island Business News, Rocky Mountain News, and Newsday. He is also the author of business incentive articles appearing in the Journal of Multistate Taxation and Incentives, as well as Area Development magazine.

Mr. Stringer is a licensed attorney in both New York and Federal District Courts. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Villanova University.
