Dallas, Texas – Ryan, a leading global tax services firm with the largest indirect tax practice in North America, today announced that John Brusniak has joined the leadership team as Principal in the Firm’s Property Tax practice. He will be based in Ryan’s Dallas, Texas office.
Mr. Brusniak is a nationally recognized property tax consultant and attorney. His ground-breaking appellate successes over the past 30 years and his active involvement with the legislature have significantly influenced property tax laws in Texas. He is a frequent speaker and publisher of property tax articles and texts. Mr. Brusniak has been elected to the positions of chair of the American Bar Association’s Property Tax Committee, chair of the State Bar of Texas Property Tax Committee, and chair of the entire State Bar of Texas Section of Taxation. He has repeatedly been selected as one of “Texas’s Super Lawyers” and one of “The Best Lawyers in America.” Mr. Brusniak is the current president of the National Association of Property Tax Attorneys, an elite organization of the top property tax attorneys in the United States. Prior to joining Ryan, he was the managing shareholder of Brusniak & Associates, an industry-recognized firm that has been maximizing property tax results for Fortune 500 companies and other highly successful businesses throughout the United States.
