25 Ryan Offices Across the United States Recognized for Exemplary Workplace Practices

Dallas, Texas – Ryan, a leading global tax services firm with the largest indirect and property tax practices in North America, today announced that 25 of the Firm’s locations across the United States won 2014 When Work Works awards recognizing exemplary workplace practices. This prestigious award distinguishes employers that successfully leverage workplace strategies to increase business and employee success. The 25 U.S. Ryan offices recognized include Arlington, Atlanta, Austin, Bellevue, Bloomington, Boston, Burlington, Carlsbad, both Chicago offices, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Downers Grove, Glendale, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Overland Park, Pittsburgh, Providence, Sacramento, Scottsdale, St. Louis, and Tampa.

This prestigious award program is part of the national When Work Works project administered by the Families and Work Institute (FWI) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Applicants must first qualify in the top 20% of the country based on a nationally representative sample of employers. Two-thirds of the evaluation of applicants comes from an employee survey. Applicants are evaluated on six research-based ingredients of an effective workplace: opportunities for learning; a culture of trust; work-life fit; supervisor support for work success; autonomy; and satisfaction with earnings, benefits, and opportunities for advancement—all factors associated with employee health, well-being, and engagement.
