Dallas, Texas – Ryan, a leading global tax services firm with the largest indirect and property tax practices in North America, today announced that the Firm’s Dallas, Texas office joined an exclusive group of companies that were selected to the 2014 Dallas Morning News Top 100 Places to Work list for the sixth consecutive year. The list is based on the anonymous comments of more than 82,000 Dallas/Fort Worth area workers compiled by Workplace Dynamics, an independent firm that administers the Top 100 Places to Work survey. Ryan’s six-year reign in the Top 100 Places to Work list is based on confidential employee feedback and demonstrates the Firm’s commitment to continuous improvement of its employee-friendly work environment.
The Dallas Morning News launched the Top 100 Places to Work in 2009 in the midst of a severe economic downturn. Since then, only 12 companies in the original list have repeated this impressive accomplishment every year. The Dallas Morning News attributed the success of these “Dynamic Dozen” companies to remarkable stability and a willingness to constantly improve, especially when it comes to internal communication and recognition. Ryan attributes many factors to its consistent selection to the list, including a recently implemented internal recognition tool that functions like a social media site and facilitates Firm-wide employee recognition on a global basis. Adoption of the program was nearly instantaneous, generating more than 3,000 recognition posts from Ryan employees within months of the formal launch.
In August 2008, Ryan introduced myRyan, an innovative work environment that changed the measurement of work performance from hours worked to results achieved. The Firm rolled out myRyan as a major culture shift designed to reach even higher levels of client service and employee satisfaction. Since its inception, myRyan has delivered tremendous dividends for the Firm, its clients, and its employees. Ryan has dramatically improved employee retention and satisfaction, while demonstrating solid year-over-year revenue growth. Most importantly, Ryan employees have achieved the highest client satisfaction ratings in the history of the Firm, while enjoying the freedom to meet the competing demands of work and life.
“We are very proud to have maintained and continuously improved our work culture and employee satisfaction during a period of high growth, multiple acquisitions, and rapid international expansion,” said G. Brint Ryan, Chairman and CEO of Ryan. “Our fast-paced growth is demanding, yet our associates continuously respond by delivering higher levels of client service and results. I sincerely thank each and every one of them for voting Ryan a Top 100 Place to Work for the sixth year in a row.”
