This prestigious award was established in 2006 to identify, recognize, and honor the top companies that offer the best places of employment in Illinois, thereby benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and business environment. The Daily Herald Business Ledger promotes the Best Places to Work in Illinois Awards program, in partnership with the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC), the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce, and the Workforce Boards of Metropolitan Chicago.
Only 65 companies across the state were honored as Best Places to Work in Illinois, and Ryan ranked third in the Large Employer category. This ranking was the result of a rigorous two-part evaluation of Ryan’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics, combined with a comprehensive employee survey measuring the Firm’s work environment, culture, employee pride, and job satisfaction.
