Dallas, Texas – Ryan, a leading global tax services firm, has bestowed its highest honor, the 2015 Chairman’s Award, to Ginny Buckner Kissling, President, U.S. Operations and Principal, in recognition of her outstanding accomplishments and exemplary service. The Chairman’s Award is the top level of recognition in the Firm and is awarded annually to the associate that best reflects the Ryan core values while delivering outstanding results.

Ms. Kissling began her career with Ryan in 1992 as the Firm’s first intern and seventh employee hired. Her outstanding technical expertise and commitment to superior client service resulted in her promotion to Principal in November 2002, becoming the Firm’s first female to hold this esteemed title. Today, Ms. Kissling is the third most tenured executive. She is known for her expertise in sales and use tax refunds and audits and incentives.
Ms. Kissling has written articles for the New York University, Institute on State and Local Taxation and for the Institute for Professionals in Taxation and frequently speaks at professional organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of North Texas.
In 2014, Ms. Kissling was named a Dallas Business Journal Women in Business honoree. The highly selective Women in Business Awards program recognizes and celebrates outstanding local women business leaders who are making a difference in their industries and communities.
