Dallas, Texas – Ryan, an award-winning global tax services firm, today announced that Shane Moncrief has been promoted to Commercial Property Tax Principal and Practice Leader. Ryan’s Property Tax practice is the largest in North America, and Mr. Moncrief will play a key role in driving continued growth, helping owners and users of commercial real estate across the United States reduce property tax liabilities and implement strategic tax minimization plans and processes.
Mr. Moncrief will oversee client engagements throughout the entire life cycle of an asset, from development or acquisition through the annual assessment process and disposition. Prior to joining Ryan, Mr. Moncrief managed the east region property tax practice of a national consulting firm and a Big Four public accounting firm. Mr. Moncrief is a frequent speaker and instructor regarding property tax issues and has delivered more than two dozen public presentations to various executive boards, state taxing authorities, and professional associations in the real estate and tax industries on a wide array of topics, including valuation, legislation, and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with a concentration in Economics from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
