Ryan Hires Kandis Thompson as Chief Financial Officer and Promotes Bogdan Baciu to Senior Vice President of Finance

Key Strategic Finance Executives will Lead Ryan through Next Phase of Growth

Dallas, Texas – Ryan, a leading global tax services firm, announced today that Kandis Thompson has joined the management team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Ms. Thompson will lead global finance operations, including accounting, tax, treasury, financial planning and analysis, risk management, and investor relations. She will be based in the Dallas, Texas office.

Ms. Thompson has more than 25 years of global leadership expertise and brings a wealth of finance and business partnership expertise to Ryan. Her depth of strategic finance experience includes corporate strategy, financial modeling, acquisitions, technical accounting, and an initial public offering (IPO). Her career includes finance leadership roles at Tanium, Weatherford International, McAfee, Intel, and in public accounting. She is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with honors, from Southwest Baptist University.

To support Ms. Thompson as CFO, Bogdan Baciu has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Finance. Since joining Ryan in May of 2016, Mr. Baciu has led a team of finance professionals who have successfully delivered continuous improvement initiatives, advanced financial reporting, and operational excellence through a period of high growth. Mr. Baciu has a background in investment banking and holds a Bachelor of Science degree (magna cum laude) in Finance and Accounting from The University of Texas at Dallas, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Queen’s University.
