DALLAS (Oct. 24, 2018) ‒ Ryan, a leading global tax services and software provider, announced Ginny B. Kissling, global president and chief operating officer, has been appointed to the North Texas Food Bank Board of Directors for a two-year term.
“The North Texas Food Bank board is made up of a diverse and talented group of individuals who are critical leaders and innovators of our efforts to end hunger in North Texas,” said Trisha Cunningham, president and CEO of the North Texas Food Bank. “We were thrilled to welcome Ginny Kissling to the Food Bank family. She brings a wealth of expertise in the tax services field and has already demonstrated passion for our vision of creating a hunger-free and healthy North Texas.”
Since 2006, Kissling has supported the North Texas Food Bank in a variety of ways. Beyond her personal support, she has been instrumental in securing support from The Ryan Foundation. Additionally, she has presented volunteer opportunities that encourage Ryan employees to share their time and talents in living one of Ryan’s values “Generosity Matters,” which focuses on sharing success with colleagues and clients, as well as our community.
“The mission of the North Texas Food Bank is very important to me, personally and professionally,” said Kissling. “No family should ever go hungry, and to have the opportunity to be a part of an organization actively working to mitigate this inspires me. As a new board member and a results-driven person, I’m thrilled to be a part of the team that will help the organization reach its 10-year goal of providing 92 million nutritious meals annually by 2025.”
