Dallas, Texas – Ryan, a leading global tax services and software provider, announced today that Darcy Kooiker, a Principal in the Transaction Tax practice, has been appointed to serve on the Washington Department of Revenue’s new Business Advisory Council. The 16 appointed members of the Business Advisory Council will discuss various tax issues and work to improve communication in a productive and transparent way between the State of Washington and the business community to increase engagement and incorporate stakeholder feedback. Ms. Kooiker works in Ryan’s Bellevue, Washington office and has more than 20 years of experience in multijurisdictional transaction tax advisory services, specializing in Washington state and local taxation.
